Creating an object from a customer or prospect
From the CRM module > Customers, a quotation or an opportunity can be created directly from a customer or prospect record sheet.

The object creation screen opens in a new tab. The Prospect / Customer field is automatically specified with the relevant customer or prospect.
| 2 | Specify the creation form. |

| 3 | Click on Validate. |
The screen displays the Header view or the quotation in creation.
| 4 | If needed, specify other information on the opportunity record sheet: lines, header, activities, contacts, etc. |
| 5 | Click on Save. |
Depending on the required fields set up for stages, a window opens displaying the fields that must be specified for the selected stage.

To define the required fields for each stage, refer to Defining required fields for opportunity stages.
| 6 | Specify the fields required for the selected stage. If the opportunity goes through multiple stages at once, the required fields specific to each stage are gathered in the window. |

The opportunity is created.

The quotation is created. At the top of the screen, the quotation is in the Draft state.
