A quotation is a management object that details services or products and their prices. It is first used to inform the customer then becomes contractual once signed by the customer.

The management screen of quotations can be accessed from the Sales Portal in the Sales module > Quotations.

Header

When a quotation is opened, the header banner of the quotation is displayed at the top of the screen.

It contains the main information of the quotation and gives access to several tabs:

Item	Description
Title line	Displays the quotation number, and the customer's name and code. When the user has the 010104 PROSPECTING PROSPECTS SEARCH or 020104 SALES CUSTOMER SEARCH DMF, a hyperlink is displayed on the customer or prospect name. When clicking on the hyperlink, the customer record sheet opens on the Sales Portal in a new tab. Note When the Portail ventes domaines > Fiche Client label feature flag is disabled, the customer or prospect record sheet is opened in the old CRM module.
Sub-title	Displays the quotation company, the journal and the accounting period.
Color indicators	Displays the 3 color indicators set up on the customer record sheet. Reference For more information about color codes, see Indicator 1 to Indicator 3.
Quotation state	Displays the current state of the quotation: draft, validated, signed, order not signed, reviewed or archived.
Approvals summary	When approvals have been requested for a quotation, a summary of approvals is displayed: approval status, approvers, etc. Reference For more information on quotation approvals, refer to Managing approvals of a quotation.
Onglets	Several tabs are available on the quotation sheet, depending on the needs. Click on the desired tab to display it. Reference For more information about the quotation tabs, refer to Managing tabs.
Amounts overview	Displays the following quotation amounts: Recurring pre-tax total: Recurring and non-recurring pre-tax total amount of the quotation: Costs: Total amount of costs of the quotation. If at least one cost is not in the object currency, the amount of costs is converted to the company currency. Margin: Percentage and amount of the margin. The amount of the margin corresponds to the Recurring pre-tax total minus Costs. If at least one cost is not in the object currency, the margin amount is calculated based on the Recurring pre-tax total and Costs converted to the company currency. If the object currency is different from the company currency, a line is present below the Recurring pre-tax total amount in object currency and displays the amount in company currency. If the costs of the quotation are all in the object currency, the Costs and Margin amounts converted to the company currency are also displayed on the line.

Managing tabs

Several tabs are available to the left of the upper banner of the quotation:

Tab	Description
Hierarchy	Allows you to display the Tree structure pane in order to manage the tree structure of the quotation. Reference For more information about managing the tree structure of the quotation, refer to Managing the Tree structure tab of a quotation.
Table	Allows you to display quotation lines in a table, regardless of titles. In that tab, the Tree structure pane is not shown. Tip The Flat levels and Tree structure levels columns both display the path of the line in the tree structure. However, the behavior of the categorization is different: Flat levels shows one category for each full path of the lines. Tree structure levels shows one category for each title level. Lines located at the root of the delivery are not displayed in any category. Empty categories are not displayed. It is not possible to use > Expand all and Collapse all in that categorization.
Header	Allows you to display header information and the left pane that contains the following information: Quick accesses; Chorus information; Linked documents. Reference For more information about managing the quotation Header tab, refer to Managing the Header tab of a quotation.
Dematerialization	Important This feature requires the feature flag Sales portal Domain > Statut Vente Facturx Label. Used to display the dematerialization information entered upstream of the invoices.
