Opportunities are part of the pipelines. They indicates which prospect has been visited, the product the company wants to sold to them and the amount the company can earn with this transaction.
The opportunities management is available from the Sales Portal > Sales > Opportunities.
When an opportunity is opened, the header banner of the opportunity is displayed at the top of the screen.
It contains the main information of the opportunity and gives access to different views:
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Title line | Displays the opportunity code and the call name of the opportunity. |
| Sub-title | Displays the customer code or the prospect code and the customer or prospect site. |
| Color indicators |
Displays the 3 color indicators set up on the customer record sheet. Reference For more information about color codes, see Indicator 1 to Indicator 3. |
| Stage and status of the opportunity | Displays the current stage and status of the opportunity: ongoing, aborted, lost, won or off target. |
| Views |
The opportunity screen can be displayed under various views, according to the needs. Click on the desired view to display the opportunity in this view. Reference For more information about the views of the opportunity, see Managing views. |
| Amount |
Displays the amount of the opportunity in the company currency. The Weighted amounts button allows you to display the amounts and days linked to opportunities in weighted or actual amounts. From the opportunity, at the top right of the screen, click on:

Views are available on the left of the upper banner of the opportunity:

| Header |
Allows you to display header information and the left pane that contains the following information:

| Lines |
Allows you to display opportunities lines in a table. Reference For more information about the Lines view of the opportunity, refer to Opportunity lines. |
| Activities |
Allows you to display actions linked to the opportunity and all modifications made on the opportunity. Reference For more information about the Activities view of the opportunity, refer to Managing the Activities view of an opportunity. |
| Contacts |
Allows you to display contacts linked to the opportunity. Reference For more information about the Contacts view of the opportunity, refer to Managing the Contacts view of an opportunity. |
