Marking an opportunity as won or los
An opportunity can be marked as won or lost from the CRM module > Pipeline.
Marking opportunities as won

| 1 | From the Kanban or Table view, click on  > Mark as won from the relevant opportunity. |
| 2 | In the window displayed, specify the following fields: |
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Stage | Select from the drop-down list the new stage of the opportunity. This list only displays the stages with a Won Status. |
| Signed on | Specify the signature date. The current date is filled in by default. |
| Comment | If needed, specify a comment. |
| 3 | Click on Confirm. |
Depending on the required fields set up for stages, a window opens to specify the fields required to move through all the remaining stages in the pipeline.

| 4 | Specify the required fields for the remaining stages in the pipeline and click Save. |
The opportunity is in the Won status. The opportunity is no longer displayed in the Pipeline menu. Click on 
in the header to display won opportunities.
Note
When an opportunity is marked as won, it is no longer possible to change its status.
Marking opportunities as lost

| 1 | From the Kanban or Table view, click on > Mark as lost from the relevant opportunity. |
| 2 | In the window displayed, specify the following fields: |
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Reason | Select from the drop-down list the reason of the loss. Reasons are set up from Tools > Setup > General setup > Sales > Archiving reason. |
| Stage | Select from the drop-down list the new stage of the opportunity. This list only displays the stages with a Lost, Aborted or Off target Status. |
| Lost on | Specify the lost date. The current date is filled in by default. |
| Comment | If needed, specify a comment. |
| 3 | Click on Confirm. |
The opportunity is in the Lost, Aborted or Off target status. The opportunity is no longer displayed in the Pipeline menu. Click on 
in the header to display lost opportunities.
Note
To mark an opportunity as lost, it is not necessary to specify the required fields for the remaining stages in the pipeline.
When an opportunity is marked as lost, it is no longer possible to change its status.
