Generating timesheet entry suggestions

DMF	060364 PROJECTS TIMESHEETS TIMESHEET SUGGESTIONS

Suggestions for timesheet entries can be automatically generated for the displayed week, based on the events present in the employee’s Outlook calendar for the same week.

By default, timesheet entry suggestions are generated without assignments. However, if AI assignment prediction is set up from the Settings Portal, assignments can be predicted and specified automatically the for generated timesheet entry suggestions. Assignments are predicted based on previously completed and approved suggestions.

Display the desired week then click on for the desired day from the List, Table or Column display.

Click on

at the right of the search field.

The generation of suggestions is started. Processing details can be accessed from the icon in the portal's upper bar.

Suggestions are marked with the icon. By default, the suggestion's Comment is the Outlook event title. The Outlook event description is displayed when hovering over the suggestion in List or Column view.

Note

To prevent duplicates, no suggestions are generated from Outlook events created by the PlanningExchange batch.

If assignment prediction is set up and you have the DMF 060365 PROJECTS TIMESHEETS PREDICT ASSIGNMENTS FOR MY SUGGESTIONS, select the desired option from the popup in the top-right corner:
