The setup of the valuation by entity allows you to define, for each entity, the daily valuation used to calculate the unit cost of the LP costs allocated to an employee linked to the entity.
This setup is only used when the Value based on cost of the employee's entity method is enabled from the projects options > Method for valuation of timesheets and schedules (Costs) section.

This setup is available from Tools > Setup > General setup > Company > Value by entity.

to add a line then specify the following fields:

| Code | Select the entity to add from the help list. |
| Start date | Specify the start date of the accounting period. |
| End date | Specify the end date of the accounting period. |
| Rate | Specify the daily rate of value by entity. |
