Managing courses

Courses are elements that constitute the training catalog. Courses must be created in order to associate training sessions with courses.

Field | Description |

Code |
Enter the unique code of the course. If automatic management objects numbering is programmed for sessions, you can leave this field empty and the code will be created automatically (see Setting up automatic numbering). |
Label | Enter a label to name the course. |
Course manager |
Enter the course manager. They are the educational manager who implements the course. The list displays all active and generic employees. |
Training level |
Enter the training level. It is the level reached after the course was attended. This information is used in the BPF. Reference To create a training level, see Creating a training level. |
Language | Enter the course language. |
Minimum nb registered participants and Maximum nb registered participants | Enter the minimum and maximum numbers of registered participants. |
Duration (in days) and i.e. (in hours) |
Enter the duration in days of sessions linked to the course in the Duration (in days) field. This information will be used in the training agreement. When the Duration (in days) is entered, the duration converted to hours is automatically entered in the i.e. (in hours) field. It is then possible to modify the i.e. (in hours) field without affecting the Duration (in days) field. |
Comment | Add a comment. |
End date |
Enter the date on which the course will no longer be valid. The course will still be entered in already created sessions but it will no longer possible to select it again when creating or modifying a session. |

Enter the technical division The list displays technical divisions created in Akuiteo. |
Technical field |
Enter the technical field. The list displays the technical fields created in Akuiteo and linked to the technical division entered. |
Technical sub-area |
Enter the technical sub-field. The list displays the technical sub-fields created in Akuiteo and linked to the technical field specified. |
Specialty mgr. |
Enter the specialty manager. The list displays active and generic employees. |
Auxiliary field |
Enter one or more auxiliary fields. The list displays the auxiliary fields created in Akuiteo. |

Objectives |
Enter what the participants will be able to do after attending to the course. Ex: Create a quotation. |
Teaching arrangements |
Enter the material used. Ex: PowerPoint presentation, Test instance. |
Program | Enter the detailed plan of what will be presented during the training. |
Access prerequisites |
Enter the prerequisites to access the training. If there are no prerequisites, check No prerequisite. Ex: Be an Akuiteo customer, Accounting degree. |
Assessment terms |
Enter the method used to assess the training. Ex: Multiple-choice questionnaire, Application exercises. |
Usability |
Enter the information linked to accessibility. Ex: Sessions are accessible by people with any disabilities. |
Access period (in days) | Enter the average period between the training request and the session. |
Contact phone no. and Contact email | Enter the contact details that the customer can use to get in contact if needed. |
Inter price and Intra price |
Enter the inter and intra prices. This information does not have any impact on training product prices in the sales module. |

1 | Open the course and click on |
2 | Modify the desired information. |

The course is modified.

DMF | 180210 TRAINING INTERNSHIPS BATCH UPDATE |
Prerequisite: Custom data must be created (see Custom data).
Custom data can be modified on multiple objects or third parties at once.
1 | Start a search and select the results to modify. |
2 | Right-click on the selection and click on Edit custom data. |
The Modify custom data window opens.
3 | Check the custom data to modify and enter the new value for each checked element. |
4 | Click on Validate. |
Custom data are modified in the selected management objects.

Prerequisite: you must previously set up an Internship type report templates.

2 | Click on the desired report template. |
3 | Select the desired Printing type from the drop-down list. |
The formats available depend on the report templates set up from the Desktop Application.
4 | Check the New linked document option if you want to add the report to the linked documents. |
5 | Click on Preview, Print or Send email. |
The course is published.

2 | Select the desired lines in the search result lines, then right-click on the selection and click on Publish selected courses. |
3 | Click on the desired report template. |
4 | Click on Preview, Print or Send email. |
The courses are published.

Important
Deleting a course cannot be reversed.
Deleting a course is impossible if one or more sessions are linked to it.
From the course, click on in the action bar and confirm the deletion.
