Performing a search
The search screens of a portal can be accessed by clicking on the corresponding menu from the navigation pane.
They are used to search for management objects by specifying filters in order to obtain results matching the desired filters.
From a search screen, various search methods are available depending on your needs:
- Search using search criteria added in quick access. The most used search criteria are then quickly accessible.
- Advanced search from a dedicated search window that gathers all search criteria added in advanced search.
Important
Searching is only available on the Purchase Portal, the Web Portal, the Help Desk Portal, the Sales Portal and Project.

Quick accesses are search criteria displayed directly in the filters area located at the op of the screen.
On most search screens, the user can manage the criteria available in quick access and then customize their search interface depending on the criteria they use the most. Criteria more rarely used and not added in quick access are still available in advanced search (see Using advanced search).
Filters are hidden automatically when a search is started. To show them again, click on at the top right of the search results.

Depending on the search screen, one criterion might be available by default in quick access. If so, that criterion cannot be removed nor its location be changed (ex: Number).
To manage criteria available in quick access, click on the Quick access button on the right of the search interface to open the Quick access setup window:
