Validating a quotation

Validating a quotation is required before turning the quotation into an order.
Prerequisites:
- The quotation must be in the Draft state.
- If approvals are set up for quotations and the quotation is approvable, the quotation must be approved.
- On-going modifications on the quotation must be saved.

- Validate if you want to validate the quotation without publishing it.
- Validate and publish if you want to validate the quotation and publish it. Then select the desired report template and format and confirm.
The quotation goes into Validated state.
Note
If a quotation requires approvals and the user has the DMF 061807 PROJECTS APPROVALS REQUEST, approval requests are triggered automatically and the quotation stays in Draft state.
