Managing the bank details validation

The validation rules are rules that allows you to define one or several employees as validators for the bank details changes from the Manager module > Bank details menu.
The setup of the validation rules is available from the Manager tab on the left of the Settings Portal then on Bank details > Validation rules.

Setups for the various companies are available from the tabs, at the top of the search criteria screen. By default, the ***** tab is the only one displayed.
To set up a company other than the ***** company, click on the + tab and select the desired company.
If a setup does not exist for a company, no change of bank details will be visible from the Bank details menu.

Field | Description |

Period from and to |
Specify the start date of the validation rule. All modifications of bank details earlier to this date will not be taken into account by the validation rule. The end date is not required. When the end date has passed, the validator cannot see and validate changes of bank details. |
Entity |
From the help list, select the entity the validation rule must apply to. This field is not required. If no entity is selected, the validation rule will apply to all entities of the company the rule is created in. |
Object |
Employee Record sheet: When this object is selected, the validation rule affects the bank details modifications of employees record sheets. Supplier Record sheet: When this object is selected, the validation rule affects the bank details modifications of suppliers record sheets. |
Supplier type (when the Supplier Record sheet object is selected) |
Select from the help list the type of supplier record sheet affected by the validation rule:

Internal/External/Virtual (when the Supplier Record sheet object is selected) |
Select from the help list the type of supplier affected by the validation rule:

Group (when the Supplier Record sheet object is selected) |
Select the desired option from the help list:

Monitored by (when the Supplier Record sheet object is selected) |
Check this box so the validator is the employee specified in the Monitored by field on the supplier record sheet (Main tab > Miscellaneous section). When this box is checked, the Specific employee field is grayed out. When this box is not checked, the Specific employee field is available. |
Specific employee | Select from the help list the employee who validates the bank details modification for the desired object. |
4 | Click on: |
- Save to create only one validation rule.
- Save and create another to create the validation rule and create another validation rule.
The validation rule is saved.
Note
Only one rule can be created for the same validation type.

From the validation rules screen, click on on the right of the line of the validation rule and confirm the deletion.
