Office automation

Important

The Office automation menu can only be accessed if one management rule among GOOGLE_APPS, GOOGLE_MAIL or OUTLOOK_NEW is enabled.

Preference Description
Office tools

Operating system default tool: Allows to open the office documents on the default tools of the operating system.

Google Apps: Allows to open the office documents on the Google tools. When this preference is activated, it is necessary to fill in the Google login information.

Email software

Microsoft Outlook: Allows the old Microsoft Outlook to be used as email application.

Microsoft Outlook (new): Allows the new Microsoft Outlook to be used as email application.

Important

The OUTLOOK_NEW management rule must be enabled in order to select Microsoft Outlook (new).

Microsoft Graph must be enabled and set up from the Administration console (see Configuration for Microsoft Graph).

Google Mail (Gmail): Allows you to use Gmail as email app.

Important

The GOOGLE_MAIL management rule must be enabled to use Gmail as email application.

The Gmail credential key must be specified in the Administration console > Third-party interfaces > Gmail configuration (see Configuring the connection to the Gmail server).

Open Gmail when sending: Allows to open Gmail when sending an email.

Show by default the X last weeks Allows to choose the number of weeks to synchronize before the current date in Tools Email management.
Tool for synchronizing with the Akuiteo calendar

Microsoft Outlook: Allows to synchronize the Microsoft Outlook calendar in Tools > Email management.

Google Agenda: Allows to synchronize the Google Agenda in ToolsEmail management.
