The setup of projects sub-families allows you to organize projects according to certain criteria (such as regions or field of activity).
Setting up projects sub-families
This setup is available from Tools > Setup > General setup > Project > Project sub-families.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Main project family | Select from the help list the main project family to which the sub-family is linked. |
| Code | Specify a code. |
| Rank # | Specify a rank number. |
| Label | Specify a label. |
| Grouping | Specify a grouping. |
| Valid until | Specify an expiration date. When the end date has passed, the sub-family can no longer be used. |
| Project type |
Select the project type on which the sub-family can be used: External: the sub-family can only be used on external projects. Internal: the sub-family can only be used on internal projects. All: the sub-family can be used on all projects types. |
