Project families

Project families allows you to divide the created projects according to your needs.

This setup is available from Tools > Setup > General setup > Projects > Project families.

Field	Description
Code	Specify a code for the project family.
Rank #	Specify a rank number for the project family.
Label	Specify a label for the project family.
Grouping	Specify a grouping for the project family.
Valid until	Specify an expiration date. When the end date has passed, the family can no longer be used. This field is not required.
Project type	Select the project type to apply to the project family: External: Projects belonging to this project family will be of type External. Internal: Projects belonging to this project family will be of type Internal. All: Projects belonging to this project family will be of all types.
