Setting up batch duplication of projects
The setup screen for the batch duplication of projects allows you to decide which types of scheduled items, timesheets and management objects you want to duplicate to the new projects during the batch duplication of projects.
| 1 | Go to Tools > Setup > General setup > Project > Batch duplication. |
| 2 | Check or uncheck the options depending on what you want to duplicate during the batch duplication of projects. |
Example
During the batch duplication of projects, I want the validated and done scheduled items to be duplicated to the new projects: In the setup screen, I check From schedules, then Validated and Done.
I also want to duplicate sales quotations: I check Quotations under the Duplication of management objects.

This field allows you to multiply the pre-tax amount of the objects by the value entered in the field (new price= former price * increase rate).
This rate is not a percentage.
Example
To apply a 1.5% increase rate, I must specify 1.015. Prices will then be multiplied by 1.015 (without dividing by 100), which is equivalent to a 1.5% increase.
| 4 | If needed, add action codes to the table by using the Action code field. If one or more action codes are entered, only the scheduled items and timesheets that have this action code are duplicated. |

The batch duplication of projects is set up.
Reminder on duplication
When duplication is enabled for the respective object type:
- Only validated or signed quotations are duplicated.
- Any service quotation is duplicated.
- Only validated and delivered sales orders are duplicated.
- Only validated billing tables are duplicated.
When duplication is enabled for timesheets and/or scheduled items:
- Timesheets in the Hours.minutes format will be rounded up to the nearest day quarter.
- Timesheets in the Days format will become scheduled items with equal values.
Multi-project management objects cannot be duplicated.
After the duplication, the new objects on the new projects will not be validated.
