The project, phase and sub-phase status codes allows the identification of the project status (pre-sales, pending signature, in production, in test phase, ended...).

This setup is available from Tools > Setup > General setup > Project > Project status code, Phase status code and Sub-phase status code.

At the top left of the screen, specify the following fields:

Field Description
Status code

Specify a status code for the project, phase or sub-phase.

Default state code Check this box so this status code becomes the status code applied by default when creating a project, phase or sub-phase.
Label Specify a label for the status code.
Accreditation level

If needed, specify an accreditation level so only the employees with the required accreditation level or a lower accreditation level can use this status code.

Accreditation levels are set up from Tools > Setup > Help Desk setup > Other parameters > Miscellaneous - Accreditation levels.

Previous status codes Specify the previous status codes.
Project type

Select the project type for the status code.

All: The status code can be applied to all type of project (internal or external);

Internal: The status code can be applied only to the internal projects;

External: The status code can be applied only to the external projects.

At the bottom left of the screen, select a phase to apply to the project, phase or sub-phase code:

Field Description
Commercial phase Matches an ongoing project, phase or sub-phase.
Production phase Matches an ongoing project, phase or sub-phase.
Lost project

Matches a project, a phase or a sub-phase.

For the project status code, the following options are available:

Close project automatically: check this box so the projects with this status code are automatically closed by Akuiteo.

Select as default state after closing a project: check this box to apply this status code to lost projects.

Do not allow project duplication

If the Do not allow projects duplication box is checked (Management > Projects then Main information tab > Project section), the this box will be automatically checked:

  • when creating a project with this status code,
  • when specifying this status code on a project.

Note

The Do not duplicate checkbox on a project is available only if a year is specified for the project.

Completed / Not Closed Indicates that the project, phase or sub-phase is no longer available.
Completed / Closed

Indicates that the project, phase or sub-phase is no longer available and can no longer be modified.

For the project status code, the following options are available:

Close project automatically: check this box so the projects with this status code are automatically closed by Akuiteo.

Select as default state after closing a project: check this box to apply this status code to closed projects.

At the right of the setup screen, select the management objects that can be created and the authorized actions when this status code is applied to a project, phase or sub-phase. The management objects and actions available are different between the projects, phases and sub-phases.
