Adding various due dates of invoices to a statement line

Important

This evolution requires enabling the feature flag Transverse Domain > Vir Clients Auto Label.

Multiple due dates of invoices can be added at once to a non-reconciled statement line, in order to charge the relevant cash movement to those due dates.

Prerequisites:

  • The Organization code column must be specified on the line.
  • The Invoice column must be empty on the line.
1 Go to Accounting > Bank reconciliation > Bank statement management and open the relevant statement.
2 Under the Non-reconciled Statement lines section, right-click on a the relevant line and click on Multiple charges.

A window opens and lists unpaid due dates of customer/supplier invoices that are booked, unpaid and associated with the line's third party.

3 Specify the desired charging amount for each due date in the Charged ... column.

If the Charged ... column is left empty for a due date, the line will not be charged to that due date.

The total charging amount specified in the window can be partial or full, but it cannot exceed the amount of the statement line.

4 Click on Validate.

The due dates selected are linked to the statement line. The Invoice column shows Multi.

When a cash movement is created from the line, the created movement is automatically charged to the corresponding due dates, and these dates are automatically paid.

When the bank reconciliation is validated, the cash movement is automatically charged to the corresponding due dates (if the movement was not already charged to the due dates), and these dates are automatically paid.
